Schedule & Class Descriptions

Whether you are new to exercise or a hard core elite athlete, our group fitness program has something for everyone.  Offering approximately 40 classes per week, our extensive variety of class formats and times can suit anyone’s fitness needs and schedule.  Champions highly experienced and educated instructors are constantly tweaking their skill set and learning about the newest and most exciting trends in group fitness to give you a top notch experience in our classes. The goal of our instructors is to give you a safe and effective workout while enjoying the social environment a group fitness class provides.  We strive for every member to leave class with a great workout and a smile on their face looking forward to the next class.

All of our regularly scheduled classes are INCLUDED WITH MEMBERSHIP. Our schedule is updated monthly and can be found below. 




Class Descriptions

A low impact, full body workout class that uses the barre to balance while focusing on toning the booty, core and arms. The class includes lots of high rep exercises with bodyweight and small weights. Barre helps with posture, muscle definition and flexibility.

Get a pro-style workout in a pro-style boot camp! This is a 55 minute, advanced level conditioning class that combines high intensity cardiovascular intervals with weight training. Body Blast meets in the Group Fitness Studio. The XT version is held in the Cross Training Studio.

Switch up your workout with a few heavy bag boxing rounds and other exercises utilizing a variety of equipment in our XT room. The total body training and quick pace of this class create a tough workout! Bring your own boxing gloves (required). Wraps also recommended. Max of 18 participants unless otherwise posted, first come, first serve.

A Champions exclusive format, Cardio Pyramid is simple in concept, but very effective. Only a few simple moves (such as jumping jacks, leaps, high knees) performed in set time increments that increase progressively and then decrease in the same manner. No fancy choreography and no rhythm needed. Just a willing attitude to work hard is all you need for a SUPER HIGH INTENSITY workout. (Low impact variations will be shown for all high impact moves.)

A mash up of the best core exercises from Pilates, kickboxing, yoga and strength training guaranteed to strengthen, lengthen and give balance to all major muscle groups. This workout is functional training to enable you to excel at whatever sport or recreational activity you engage in regularly.

Flow is a dynamic toning and stretching class. It consists of yoga, Pilates, and rhythmic stretching to increase strength and flexibility.

Absolutely no dance experience required. Our instructor demonstrates simple to follow hip hop combinations that will provide you with an energizing, moderate intensity aerobic workout. Just cut loose and add your own style to get your heart pumping.

Similar, but not exactly the same as the videos, P90x LIVE is a FUN, powerful, high energy full-body workout that will keep your body guessing and coming back for more. Although mostly strength training, the class also includes some cardio and core moves. Expect for your body and mind to be transformed as you work towards your fitness goals.

Very much like Les Mills BodyPump®, RIP is a barbell workout designed by Power Music Group Rx. Safe and effective exercises are choreographed to fun and motivating music tracks to create a thrilling group fitness atmosphere. Functional strength training is achieved by attacking muscle groups in every movement plane. The results are beautifully sculpted (not bulky) bodies.

 Setup at beginning of class includes step bench with risers, barbell, 2 of each size plate, and 2 clips (all provided by Champions).  Personal mat recommended.

Geared towards our more mature members, this class offers low impact, low intensity strength training. Some exercises will be performed seated; others will be performed standing.

Senior Strong Course

Spinning classes are done in a fitness studio, with various light and music settings to create an energized atmosphere. Instructors guide participants through workout phases. Warm-up, steady up tempo cadences, sprints, climbs, cool-downs, etc. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. PASS required due to limited number of spin bikes. Pick up pass at front desk 30 minutes prior to class time (we normally have plenty of room!!)

Workout clothes, a towel, water bottle, Spinning bikes have toe clips, so you can wear tennis shoes. But many pedals also work with Shimano-style SPD cleats.

Traditional step aerobics performed on the original Reebok Step bench. Step is lower impact than jogging, but still a highly effective aerobic workout.  The step aerobics is combined with overall toning using body weight or resistance equipment such as dumbbells or bodybars for a well-rounded workout.

Total body strength training along with flexibility training to target smaller muscle groups will help you build a lean and toned physic. This class also includes a lot of core work to tightened and define your midsection

Tabata training is a type of high intensity interval training (HIIT) that follows a specific format: 20 seconds of a very high intensity exercise (e.g. sprints.) 10 seconds of rest; repeat 8 times for a total of 4 minutes. A few sets are combined together to create a short, but VERY EFFECTIVE class. Tabata training is suitable for any fitness level, but beginners should start with lighter resistance/speed and work their way up to an all-out workout.

A full body workout in every class, Total Body Conditioning (TBC) is primarily strength training with cardio intervals in a wide variety of formats to give you the perfect one hour workout. Exercises are shown with modifications to make them more advanced or beginner, making this a training style class appropriate for all fitness levels.

Burn calories and blast fat! Turbo Kick® is a Beachbody® class that mixes cardio kickboxing sections and HIIT rounds to music that makes you want to move it! You’ll love having fun and losing weight.

Equipment: Turbokick has a lot of quick rotation in the choreography. Shoes that allow you to rotate and provide shock absorption and lateral movement support will give you the best and safest workout.

Come relax and recharge your body, mind and spirit while building your strength, improving your balance and increasing your flexibility. Our yoga instructors focus on good form while demonstrating and verbally describing practical, user-friendly poses. All fitness levels welcome.

Zumba™ is a Latin-inspired, dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements which creates a dynamic, party-like atmosphere! Zumba is a cardio-based dance workout that is appropriate for all fitness levels. Come Join the Party!!
